Spectrum Addict – Jim Bagley Interview
Had a great time meeting and interviewing Jim Bagley, of Cabal and Midnight Resistance fame. The first meeting was at Play Expo in Blackpool, where Jim – bless him – was exhausted from his motorbike and Play Expo adventures (he was Guest of Honour). We still had a great chat about some of the things to be covered in the interview.
We then met up in Jim’s hometown of Liverpool, for a fun interview (the longest we’ve ever done!) which was fascinating in itself with regards his Spectrum developments, his time at Special FX and working with Joffa, and Jim also gave an in-depth explanation concerning the creation of Dragon’s Lair on the ZX81 (for which he received an entry in the Guinness Book of Records!) – so for fans of that, we’ll be releasing it as a separate “mini-film” for those with a serious technical disposition.
